After 15 years serving Central Florida I am suspending my instrument repair services at the end of October 2022. I have accepted a full-time position as an electronics engineering technician at a local firm and I am looking forward to having a more traditional work-life balance. I will also be pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering. While I will still be building guitars, I will no longer be accepting custom commissions. I may still offer instruments for sale, but initially I will build several personal instruments that I’ve never had the time to build for myself and members of my family. I will continue to build and sell effects and hope to expand my pedal line in the future.
All instruments that are scheduled to be dropped off on or before October 29th for repair will still be accepted and any instruments currently in the shop will be completed as soon as possible. I intend to finish all current commissioned builds before the end of the year. Anyone who currently has an appointment booked for repair after October 29th and would still like for me to work on their instrument will need to get with me to reschedule drop-off around my new work schedule. The turnaround times on these repairs may be long as I will be working on them around my new schedule.
This is a big change and one that I have spent a long time thinking through. I wish there was some way that I could continue to serve all of you, but this is the right decision for me and my family moving forward. I am humbled and appreciative of the support you have all shown me these last 15 years and I hope you will continue your support of my effects business. Please feel free to keep in touch.
